Landywood iPad Scheme

Our pupils really enjoy learning through technology.  At Landywood, to help make learning even more exciting and engaging, all pupils have access to iPads and all children from Years 2 - 6 have 1:1 devices.  Please click here to read a news article about Landywood's Ipad programme.

We have been working in partnership with Albion Computers to offer parents the opportunity to acquire an iPad for their child(ren) to use in school, as well as for learning at home. This scheme has been running for several years now and has proved to really support children’s learning. ICT at Landywood is an area we have been working very hard on developing, through a collaborative approach between families and school. Joining this scheme enables children to continue school work at home, complete their online homework each weekend, research upcoming learning and much more.

Families are able to choose to make monthly contributions for up to 36 months resulting in them then owning the iPad. There is also an option to pledge a one-off upfront payment in full. When you sign up to the scheme your child will receive the following:
• iPad 10.9” 10th Gen 64GB 
• Pipetto Origami Shield Case
• Deqster Smart Rugged Touch Plus Keyboard Case 
• Tempered Glass Screen Protector
• USB C to 3.5mm Audio Adapter and 20W Power Adaptor
• iCare: Coverage against theft and accidental damage for the length of the payment schedule
• MDM: Software security managed by the school
• School provisioned apps

I am sure you will be as enthusiastic about this scheme as we are here in school. From £19.00 per month (working out at approximately £4.40 per week), your child will have their own iPad which will have a real impact in their learning and development. There is a sibling discount for all families who have two or more children in Years 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5. The project does not undertake any credit checks.
